Legal definition

Transportation and transfer are listed as acts which, when done for the purpose of exploitation, constitute trafficking.

What it looks like in real life
  • Being driven by someone to a house, hotel, workplace, or room where control increases.

  • Being pressured to get in a car or taxi with someone.

  • Being moved repeatedly between locations to isolate someone from support.

  • Being told travel is “for work,” “for love,” or “just for fun,” but control increases.
